Oasis Phatthanakan 30

Located in the heart of a residential zone of Phatthanakan District, Oasis project is aimed to be "a big living room" where residents in the area can meet up and spend free time together. The gable roof form of the project is split up in half, clearing a long and high open space from the front to the back of the site for circulation as well as leisure activities. 

A social amphitheatre adjacent to the front road serves as a relaxing space and a giant staircase in a single entity, inviting people to go up to the second floor. Moreover, the amphitheatre also acts as "an urban seating" of the big living room, allowing public space to permeate into the internal space seamlessly. As a result, the boundary between the project and the surrounding context becomes blurred.
